Netflix is set to release The Eternaut, a highly anticipated Argentine sci-fi series, in 2025. Directed by Bruno Stagnaro, the six-episode series is an adaptation of the iconic graphic novel El Eternauta by Héctor Germán Oesterheld and Francisco Solano López. The story follows Juan Salvo and a group of survivors as they battle an alien invasion triggered by a deadly snowstorm that kills anyone touching the snowflakes instantly.

Ricardo Darín, a renowned Argentine actor, leads the cast, with Carla Peterson and César Troncoso in supporting roles. Despite some delays in filming, production wrapped in late 2023, and fans are eagerly awaiting this adaptation, which is expected to capture the novel’s political undertones and sci-fi intrigue.
