Netflix is investing heavily in Korean content, and next week we'll see another highly anticipated K-Drama TV show land on our favorite streaming service.

'Goodbye Earth' is a dystopian sci-fi series based on the novel 'Shumatsu No Furu' by Japanese author Kotaro Isaka. An asteroid on a collision course with Earth has been discovered, and we've all been given 200 days to live, with the impact point predicted to be on the Korean peninsula. In 12 episodes, we will be following three key characters as they face the not-so-slow breakdown of society: Se-kyung (Ahn Eun-jin), a school teacher who fights to protect her children; Sung-jae (Jeon Seong-woo), a priest; and In-a (Kim Yoon-hye), a military commander who works to maintain peace and order.

A similar theme was explored in the highly rated satirical comedy 'Don't Look Up' (2021), but this one promises to deliver a darker, more realistic, and grittier version of The End of The World.

Mark it down in your calendars; we'll watch it for sure, and check out the official trailer below.
