One of Netflix's most-watched series, "The Witcher", is back with another season of the reign of Geralt of Rivia - the talented monster-hunter who kills mythical creatures with the help of his supernatural abilities.

Netflix recently announced that "The Witcher - Season 3" will debut on June 29 and that this time it will be released in two parts. The first part, aptly called "Volume 1", consists of Episodes 1 through 5, arrives on Netflix on June 29, while "Volume 2" consisting of Episodes 6 through 8 will be out on July 27.

The trailer release highlights some exciting scenes, with a big conflict coming and Geralt having to decide whether to stay neutral or take sides. What will happen? We'll find out soon. In either case fans should be expecting more action, magic and epic adventures.

As for the series' cast, Cavill, Allen, Batey, and Chalotra will reprise their roles as Geralt, Ciri, Jaskier, and Yennefer, respectively. Unfortunately, this will be the final season where Henry Cavill will be starring as Geralt. The actor dropped the role for undisclosed reasons and will be replaced by Liam Hemsworth in "The Witcher - Season 4".

Some notable names also starring in Season 3 include Graham McTavish as Djikstra, Mahesh Kadu as Vilgefortz, Anna Shaffer as Triss, Bart Edwards as Emhyr, Eamon Farren as Cahir, and Mimi Ndiwen as Fringilla.

"As monarchs, mages, and beasts of the Continent compete to capture her, Geralt takes Ciri into hiding, determined to protect his newly-reunited family against those who threaten to destroy it. Entrusted with Ciri’s magical training, Yennefer leads them to the protected fortress of Aretuza, where they hope to uncover more about the girl’s untapped powers; instead, they discover they’ve landed in a battlefield of political corruption, dark magic, and treachery.
